I'm an aunt!

!!!!!!!I'M AN AUNT!!!!!!!!

I am so excited.

Abby called Stephen and told him. She wanted him to buy me a card to tell me the news.

So, he did. ( He really is such a good man!)

He came home mid-morning and handed me a card. I thought it was going to be a "lets go on a date card" but it was so much better!

It said:
Special Wishes for a very special mom-to-be

He scratched out mom and wrote aunt. (He has a history of scratching out key words in greeting cards only to replace them with words that fit his situation.)

I cried. Immediately. No time to compute anything. I just cried. My kids did dances around the school room.

The best part was how the card was signed:

I can't wait to see you Aunt JuJu Love, Baby L

And you know what? I can't wait to see Baby L. Girl or boy. I don't care. Just hurry and get here with your curly dark hair. I can't wait.

I am so excited for Abby and Randall. I think Abby has wanted to be a mother longer than I have. So this is a dream come true for her. And now I get to be an aunt. And better than that I'm going to have some little curly dark haired thing calling me JuJu. Does it get better than that? NO, it doesn't!

So, its a countdown to December 12!
